Who we are
Saju by sajusaju is operated by 셀리스 (Celis), a company registered in South Korea. This policy explains what information we collect when you order a Saju reading at sajusaju.co.kr/en, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Email address — to deliver your reading and send you its access link.
- Birth details (name, birth date, birth time, birth city) — required to compute your Saju chart. This is stored encrypted at rest and is never shared or sold.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record. We never see or store your full card number; we retain only the transaction identifiers needed for order records and refunds.
- Analytics cookies (optional) — see the Cookies & analytics section below.
How we use it
- Generating your Saju reading and making it available at your personal reading link.
- Processing your payment, confirming your order, and handling refund requests.
- Customer support — responding to questions about your order or reading.
- With your consent, understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your birth details for anything other than generating and delivering your reading.
How long we keep it
We keep your order (email, encrypted birth details, and reading) for as long as needed to keep your reading accessible at its link, and to meet our accounting and payment-dispute obligations. If you ask us to delete your data (see Your rights below), we remove it once any legal retention requirements tied to the transaction have passed.
Why we are allowed to use it (EU/UK legal bases)
- Performance of a contract — your birth details, email, and the reading itself. Without these we cannot deliver what you bought.
- Consent — analytics cookies. Nothing non-essential runs before you accept, and you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — transaction records we must keep for tax and accounting.
- Legitimate interests — preventing fraudulent orders and abuse of the service.
Where your data is processed
We operate from South Korea and process your data there. For transfers from the EU and the UK, the Republic of Korea holds an adequacy decision from the European Commission (December 2021), so no additional transfer mechanism is required. Our payment provider processes payment data under its own terms as merchant of record.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it, at any time. To make a request, email support@celis.co.kr from the address you used to order, and we'll confirm and process your request.
